It's folk art at its best!
Barb Adams and Alma Allen of Blackbird Designs have joined with the Spencer Museum of Art at the University of Kansas to share historical 1710-1841 schoolgirl samplers with today's cross-stitchers.
Book also includes 11 small projects inspired by the antique stitcheries, such as the 7 5/8" x 5 1/3" sewing tray shown.
